Quatschologie is a site-specific performance by the FREYAS that combines dance, text and language to explore nonsense as a humorous, liberating and subversive force. Inspired by Şeyda Kurt's concept of radical tenderness, we unfold the diversity of Quatsch, or nonsense:

"Q for nonsense. Talking nonsense. Making nonsense. Watching nonsense."

Language, song and movement merge into a dynamic dialogue in which the relationship between the body, social ideals and meaning is constantly renegotiated. Nonsense appears as an expression of frustration, as a moment of relief and as a political tool. Can nonsense be resistance? Can it shake power structures, open up new scope or shift perspectives?
