Whether in a research or artistic context, or just for fun, I love playing with materials, learning new things and working on side projects.

From small repairs to upcycling, embroidery or sewing a pattern from scratch, I am a largely self-taught sewer who loves to see old materials and clothing take on new life. Special thanks to Cristina Tatar, of Wieder und Wider, for rekindling my upcycling fire and who shared her kimono-inspired pattern with me.
